Security Training

TRAINING FROM WORKING PRACTITIONERS
Skills fade quickly when they are learned only from a slide deck. Our courses are led by experienced close protection operators and security specialists, and are built around realistic situations your people are likely to face.
What every course includes:
• Instructors with operational experience
• Content adapted to your team and environment
• Practical exercises, not only theory
• Feedback and recommendations afterwards
NDA available before any details are shared.

CLOSE PROTECTION TRAINING
Protecting a person takes discipline, teamwork and judgement. We train security teams and in-house staff in the working methods of close protection, from planning and advance work to moving a principal safely.
Within the training:
• Close protection fundamentals and team drills
• Planning, advance work and route selection
• Working with vehicles and drivers
• Conduct and discretion around the principal

SERE AND HOSTILE ENVIRONMENTS
Staff working in unstable regions need more than a travel policy. Our survival, evasion, resistance and escape (SERE) and hostile environment courses prepare people to avoid trouble, to react well and to come home.
Within the training:
• SERE: survival, evasion, resistance and escape
• Hostile environment awareness
• Checkpoints, routes and personal conduct
• Responding to detention and kidnap threats

STAFF AWARENESS
Most security incidents are noticed first by ordinary staff. We teach employees, household teams and family members how to recognise concerns, what to do next and how to report them, without creating unnecessary alarm.
Within the training:
• Personal security at work and while travelling
• Recognising hostile surveillance
• Handling visitors and sensitive information
• Reporting concerns and incidents

CRISIS AND TEAM EXERCISES
Training has lasting value when it is tested. We run exercises based on your own plans and scenarios, so that leaders and teams practise making decisions under pressure and learn what needs to change.
Within the training:
• Tabletop exercises for leadership teams
• Scenario-based drills for security staff
• Medical emergency basics, by arrangement
• A written review after every exercise
TRAINING: HOW IT WORKS
Each course is built around the people attending it. What follows is a typical outline; final scope and budget are agreed in writing once we understand your team and your objectives.
What a course can include:
• Needs review: your team, its role and its environment
• Close protection: methods, planning and team drills
• SERE: survival, evasion, resistance and escape
• Hostile environments: conduct, routes and checkpoints
• Awareness: personal security and spotting surveillance
• Exercises: scenario-based, built on your own plans
• Review: feedback and recommendations after the course
How an engagement begins:
• Step 1. A private conversation, under NDA
• Step 2. Review of your team and objectives
• Step 3. A written proposal with content and budget
• Step 4. Delivery at an agreed location and time
• Step 5. Feedback and recommendations
To prepare a proposal, we ask for:
• Who is to be trained, and how many
• Their role and working environment
• Preferred dates and location
