GSC - Awangarda Consortium: Security, Evacuation and MEDEVAC in the MENA Region

In crisis environments, the greatest vulnerability is often not the threat itself, but the gap between services that should already be working together. Security, evacuation, medical support and logistics are too often treated as separate functions, brought together only once conditions begin to deteriorate. The GSC - Awangarda operational project was created to close that gap.

Built for government institutions, non governmental organisations, major companies and all entities responsible for personnel safety and continuity of operations, the project offers one integrated framework for protection, evacuation and medical support across the MENA region. Its purpose is clear: to give clients a single, coordinated capability able to plan, mobilise and execute under pressure.

The project consolidates the capabilities of Global Security Centre, Fundacja Awangarda and Dr Tomasz Hendzel within one operational platform. This gives clients access to protective services, evacuation planning and execution, medical support, MEDEVAC, medical transport, flight coordination and operational logistics through one coherent interface. The strength of the model lies not only in the breadth of capability, but in the ability to adapt delivery to mission profile, risk level, legal context and decision making tempo, while preserving discretion, accountability and operational clarity.

The framework is designed to function both before and during a crisis. It can support readiness reviews, evacuation procedures, executive preparedness, continuity planning and the protection of critical personnel. When the situation requires action, it can move immediately into execution mode, maintaining 24/7 readiness to launch protective, evacuation and medical operations without delay.

The consortium is built on practical experience developed under real crisis conditions. Its consolidated record includes more than 4,000 evacuations from the conflict environment in Ukraine and more than 300 medical evacuations, including casualties moved from frontline areas. That experience has required security judgement, cross border coordination, logistics, communications continuity and medical decision making to operate as one system. The project also brings experience in medical aircraft operations, air ambulance coordination and long term cooperation with charter providers and aviation partners.

Operationally, the project can organise charter flights, coordinate medical flights, manage airport logistics and configure transport according to patient condition, mission profile and required level of care. It also maintains the capability to support difficult ground evacuations across the broader MENA region, including extraction routes from Iran towards Azerbaijan. In practice, the GSC - Awangarda consortium offers one integrated working model in which protection, evacuation, medical capability, logistics and execution discipline are aligned from the outset - giving institutions the structure they need to manage crisis with speed, confidence and control.
